fathers day 2024

Shouldn’t Dad get a day off on Father’s Day? Instead of having the dads in your life grill up steaks and hot dogs—let some of the great wineries of the Garden State host your crew.

Several wineries are pulling out all the stops this Father’s Day. Take a peek at the thirst quenching menu of options below. You’re sure to find one that will appeal to the special people you want to honor.

Father’s Day Pig Roast Buffet at Angelico
20 Hamp Road, Lambertville, NJ

A feast fit for a king: 14-hour Asado smoked whole hog, wine, all the fixings. Served up for you at Angelico Winery from 1-4 pm. Tickets are $73 for adults, children $30, kids under 4 eat free. Live music from Henry Wieczorek!

Father’s Day Beefsteak Dinner at Brook Hollow Winery
594 State Highway 94, Columbia, NJ

This is a meal fit for kings: dinner consists of beef tenderloin cooked in butter, served on thin-sliced Italian bread, with sides of French fries and coleslaw. Experienced beefsteak dinner guests (the annual event has become a tradition for many and often sells out) make towers of the bread on their tables to track just how many slices of beef they’ve eaten.

The party kicks off at 4 pm.
