GSWGA Mother’s Day Blog 2024

Being a mother is one of the best and hardest jobs in the world, and the Garden State Wine Growers Association wants to help you celebrate mom in the style she deserves. The date that Mother’s Day falls changes every year, but it always falls on the second Sunday of May, and New Jersey wineries always pull out all the stops for moms.

While the mothers in your life will definitely appreciate the cards you craft, the salon gift certificates you shower her with, the chocolate, the candies and the phone calls—what mothers everywhere want is what they have tirelessly given over the years: time.

If you’re still scrambling for ideas on how and where to celebrate the mothers in your life, you’ve come to the right place. From May 10 through May 12, the much-anticipated Mother’s Day Wine Trail is here to roll out the red carpet for moms and their families.

Here is a sample of what wineries in the Garden State are planning, but spaces are filling up quickly, so make sure you call ahead and RSVP for your crew now.
