GARDEN STATE WINERIES ANNOUNCE WINE & CHOCOLATE TRAIL WEEKENDS

Celebrate New Jersey Wines With Loved Ones February 10-12 & 17-19

Haddonfield, NJ (January 17, 2023) – Garden State Wine Growers Association – a coalition of 60+ New Jersey wineries and vineyards supporting the Garden State’s wine industry through information, resources, and advocacy – announced today the dates for The New Jersey Wine & Chocolate Trail Weekends.

The New Jersey Wine & Chocolate Trail Weekends embrace Valentine’s Day and take place on both February 10 – 12 and February 17 – 19, 2023. Both weekends offer an opportunity to enjoy fine wine, artisan chocolate, music and more.

Wineries throughout the state have created a program of events and activities perfect for sharing – stroll the vineyards while holding hands and a glass of wine, enjoy a wine flight, savor  chocolate and wine pairings by a fire pit, relax to live music and more as you enjoy New Jersey wine in the vines. With over 60 wineries and vineyards in four distinct American Viticultural Areas, there’s a New Jersey winery within less than an hour’s drive. The four American Viticultural Areas (AVA) are the Warren Hills AVA, the Cape May Peninsula AVA, the Central Delaware Valley AVA and the Outer Coastal Plain AVA. Vineyards across New Jersey grow more than 80 grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sangiovese, Albarino and Chardonnay. New Jersey’s wineries also produce a wide array of fruit wines, and New Jersey is one of the top producers of wine in the country.
