Open Mic Night with Brittany Ramaglia, Friday March 08, 2019 at 6:30PM to 10:00PM

Tina Margot, our regular open mic host is taking a month off, and our own ‘gal behind the bar’ Brittany Ramaglia will host our monthly music gathering. We serve wine by the glass or bottle; Latin Bites food truck will be cooking at the bottom of the Tasting Room stairs. This will also be the first chance to taste and enjoy our 2015 Counoise, as the open mic kicks off Release Weekend. There’s no cover charge, and we promise you a raucous, rocking…even riotous good time. Performers should arrive at the beginning of the evening to guarantee stage time.

Counoise Release Weekend – Saturday & Sunday March 09-10, 2019 at 12:00PM to 5:00PM – As far as we know, we’re the only winery on the east coast that makes Counoise. There might not be ten wineries that do it in the entire country! The grape is originally from the Rhone Valley where it’s used in the Chateauneuf du Pape blend. We grow it on the Amwell Ridge, our vineyard site across the street from the winery. Sometimes it goes into the Hunterdon Mistral Rose’, sometimes into the Hunterdon Mistral Rouge, and when it’s special we bottle it as a varietal wine. In 2015 we made just one barrel- less than 20 cases are available. Cherry Grove Farm will be sampling and selling their incredible cheeses, and we will have some fresh baked bread to enjoy with them as well. Tastings are $10 per person. Counoise tastings are complimentary all weekend, beginning with our Open Mic event Friday evening the 8th.
