GARDEN STATE WINE GROWERS ASSOCIATION HONORS INDEPENDENCE DAY

Commemorate the Fourth of July in New Jersey Wine Country from June 30 – July 4

Haddonfield, NJ (June 26, 2023) – Garden State Wine Growers Association – a coalition of 60+ New Jersey wineries and vineyards supporting the Garden State’s wine industry through information, resources, and advocacy – shares opportunities to celebrate Fourth of July this upcoming weekend.

From June 30th through July 4th, celebrate the Fourth of July while exploring the diverse offerings and experiences of New Jersey wine country. Prepare to start your holiday celebrations early this year! Join us starting this Friday, June 30th at select locations.

“The Garden State Wine Growers Association and its winery members are dedicated to organizing events throughout the year, catering to every special occasion and holiday celebration, ” says Devon Perry, Executive Director for the Garden State Wine Growers Association. “New Jersey wineries offer unique experiences that feel like an escape close to home. They create unforgettable memories for wine enthusiasts, families, and everyone in between.”

What to expect at wineries across the Garden State: 

  • Scenic vineyards with outdoor seating and live entertainment
  • Exclusive Fourth of July promotions and menus

With over 60 wineries and vineyards in four distinct American Viticultural Areas, there’s a New Jersey winery within less than an hour’s drive. The four American Viticultural Areas (AVA) are the Warren Hills AVA, the Cape May Peninsula AVA, the Central Delaware Valley AVA and the Outer Coastal Plain AVA. Vineyards across New Jersey grow more than 80 grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sangiovese, Albarino and Chardonnay. New Jersey’s wineries also produce a wide array of fruit wines, and New Jersey is one of the top producers of wine in the country.
