GARDEN STATE WINE GROWERS ASSOCIATION CELEBRATES
FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND

Honor the people in your life as you share local wine, great food and entertainment June 16 – 18

Haddonfield, NJ (June 13, 2023) – Garden State Wine Growers Association – a coalition of 60+ New Jersey wineries and vineyards supporting the Garden State’s wine industry through
information, resources, and advocacy – shares the opportunities to celebrate Dads this upcoming weekend.

From June 16th to the 18th, celebrate Father’s Day while exploring the diverse offerings and experiences of Garden State’s wine country. Exploring New Jersey’s wine country is a memorable experience for the whole family, especially for Dad.

“The organization aims to provide year-round opportunities for individuals to discover and experience New Jersey’s 60+ wineries and vineyards, creating cherished memories that can be passed down for generations,” says Devon Perry, Executive Director for the Garden State Wine Growers Association. “With wineries located throughout the entire state, we present the idea of gifting an experience this Father’s Day.”

What to expect at wineries across the garden state

  • Gorgeous vineyards with outdoor seating and live entertainment
  • Special Father’s Day promotions and menus
  • Wine tastings at various locations
  • Brunch, lunch, and food trucks
  • Self-guided wine flights, specialty sangrias, wine slushies

With over 60 wineries and vineyards in four distinct American Viticultural Areas, there’s a New Jersey winery within less than an hour’s drive. The four American Viticultural Areas (AVA) are the Warren Hills AVA, the Cape May Peninsula AVA, the Central Delaware Valley AVA and the Outer Coastal Plain AVA. Vineyards across New Jersey grow more than 80 grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sangiovese, Albarino and Chardonnay. New Jersey’s wineries also produce a wide array of fruit wines, and New Jersey is one of the top producers of wine in the country.

Visit the Garden State Wine Growers events page for a full list of New Jersey wineries and details on how you can celebrate at select locations. Give Dad a break from the outdoor BBQ and give him the chance to relish in outdoor entertainment, special menus, wine tours, and, of course, New Jersey wine! Happy Father’s Day!
