Through the winter months, we wish to provide a safe, outdoor space for you to visit with friends and family at Unionville. We are offering fireplaces for up to six adults to gather, any Saturday and Sunday. We require a case (12 bottle) purchase in exchange for use of the firepits and adirondack chairs around it. Our usual case discount does not apply for fireplace visits. Upon your arrival, our staff will light the fire, and tend to it throughout your stay. You may bring food from home or a local market to enjoy by the fire, however we do not allow cooking of any kind over the fireplaces. Only adults 21 and older may be in the party using the fire places. You can make a reservation over the phone, and you will purchase the case of wine on arrival. Our staff will open wine bottles for you; we permit one bottle of wine to be consumed per person in the party. For example, once a group of six responsibly enjoys six bottles of wine, we will not open additional bottles and do not permit guests to open additional wine themselves. Your safety on the property is our top priority. The last logs will be built into your fire at 4pm, so we can clean up upon closing at 5pm.
To book a tasting appointment or a Solostove fireplace reservation, please call Tasting Room Manager Tiffany Baldino at 908-788-0400 ex2. You may leave a voicemail with your preferred date and time, and your call will be returned within 24 hours.
Each fireplace will be more than amply distanced from others across the property. You can combine your fireplace visit with a wine tasting in the tasting room. Tastings are available by appointment at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm.
Please observe the following during your visit. Guests will:
- wear a mask outdoors when within 6 feet of anyone not in their party
- wear a mask when arriving in the tasting room, to check in for an indoor tasting or fireplace reservation, or to use the restrooms
- adhere to all policies listed herein and posted on the property
We sell Dibruno Brothers cheeses spreads & crostini, salumi, and soft drinks. Restrooms, doorknobs, picnic tables, and other high-touch surfaces in public areas will be sanitized regularly throughout the day. Please distance from other parties and staff. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the picnic grounds, but not in the tasting room.
At this time we are suspending group tastings and private tours & tastings, as well as the public tour previously held on Saturdays and Sundays at noon.
