An educational and in-depth tour of our vineyard and wine cellar with our winemaker, Marta Piotrowicz. She will share the process of winter pruning, what to look for in the spring and why it’s so important to leave a little extra wood on the vines.
Marta will also go through the entire process from grapes to wine. She will explain how different grapes require different types of fermentation as well as different times for pressing. Learn about open vat fermentation versus closed tanks, racking, filtering, lab testing and finally an almost finished product. The results are then shared with our Executive Winemaker and other key staff to determine the ultimate finish of the wine.
