Ted Lyons Live Acoustic
Ted Lyons performs within the folk/folk rock/60’s/country rock genres. He has been a performer on the NJ/NY/PA scene for over thirty years as a bass player and guitarist/singer/harmonica player. Top of the line equipment lends itself to a full, professional sound. The last few year’s Ted’s been focused on his first love….solo performing.
Ted’s song list for live performing….and for his radio audience circles around The Beatles and British Invasion (Beau Brummels, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermits, Traffic etc), 60’s Motown and 50’s and 60’s tunes, country rock, singer songwriters ala John Prine, Nanci Griffith, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Townes Van Zandt, a smattering of originals… and songs by request. Easy banter and no stress performing are Ted’s signature..
Ben Kirschenbaum is a New York stand-up comedian and writer that has a unique way of talking to the audience as if it were a speech but the end result is always laughing. Ben takes words and spins them into his own little paradise description which leaves the crowd nodding their heads and laughing at his genius. Ben’s humor is leading edge and not your run of the mill mainstream comedy boiler plate bits. He started out as an improv guy performing at Chicago’s Second City, iO, and Annoyance theaters before moving back to his hometown for stand up. In Chicago, he won Second City’s Write Off Contest and performed at numerous festivals. He’s written for MTV, Clickhole, and seriouslyTV and is now a regular in the New York stand up scene.
