From a High School Jam to an Award-Winning Blues Powerhouse!

What started in 1988 as two Bucks County high school grads jamming with a guitar and mouth harp has grown into one of the region’s most respected blues acts. Over the years, Little Red Rooster Blues Band added a harmonica (1996), drums (2013), and bass (2015), evolving into a full-throttle blues ensemble with soul, grit, and groove.

They don’t just play the classics—they write their own. With eight CDs under their belt (seven filled with original tracks), their 2019 album Lock Up and Liquor took home top honors at the International Blues Challenge, awarded by the legendary Blues Foundation in Memphis.
