Lounge 1853 transforms on the last Friday of every month into an intimate jazz lounge featuring live music, snacks, and special wine cocktails from 7pm-9pm.

February Featured Musician:
Miho Sasaki is a jazz pianist and music educator based in New York and originally from Japan. From 2016 to 2019, she studied jazz piano with Donald Vega at SUNY Purchase College in the United States, where she was awarded the acclaimed James Moody Scholarship, which led to her earning a B.M. in Jazz Studies. She has performed in many jazz venues in the tri-state area. In 2018, she led her trio on tour in Japan and won the 38th annual Asakusa Jazz competition. In July 2022, she played at Newport Jazz Festival with Ryan Hollander (vo).
