DUE TO SEVERE STORM CONDITIONS, Sunday’s Cape May Wine & Food Experience has been cancelled…!  If you had advance tickets to Sunday’s event, you can call ExtremeTix at 1-888-695-0888 and give them your ticket number. The GSWGA will be contacted by them and we will give the okay to have a refund sent to you for the Sunday event.

Please note that we closely watched the weather all week and the forecast moving into the weekend did not deem cancelling the event.  Unfortunately, the wind and rain that Cape May experienced last night and was expected to experience into this evening was not as predicted and as a result the police determined the conditions to be unsafe.

The Garden State Wine Growers Association returns to the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at the historic Hanger #1 in the Cape May Airport for the Cape May Wine & Food Experience on Columbus Day weekend Oct. 8-9 from noon-5 p.m. each day. Drop your landing gear with us during Cape May’s Victorian Weekend, with classic Cape May airport airplanes on display surrounding the festival grounds! Highlighting the event will be special chef demonstrations.

The event is rain or shine as all guests will be protected under cover. Wineries will be set up in large tents alongside the hangar that will make a horseshoe leading into the Historic Hangar #1 where the chef demonstrations will take place. Guests will also be able to view the historic planes on display and tour the museum inside the hangar.

Advance tickets are now on sale for $30 + fee and can be purchased here. This price will remain in effect through the event.

Gates open each day at 11:30 am with wine sampling conducted from noon to 4:30 pm each day. Wine sales end at 5 pm.
