The 6th Annual Stafford Fall Wine Festival will be held October 14th and 15th at Manahawkin Lake Park, Manahawkin, NJ. Sample dozens of wines from some of New Jersey’s leading wineries while enjoying the beautiful lake-front setting. Unique crafters, vendors and food will also on hand. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to sit and enjoy live music Saturday from local favorites Funk Shway & The Dojo Birds; on Sunday crowd-pleaser Acoustic NRG will perform. Although the festival is rain or shine, in the event of extreme weather a cancellation decision will be made the evening prior and posted on the event Facebook page.

The festival will offer sampling from some of New Jersey’s leading wineries; participants include Cava Winery & Vineyard, Coda Rossa Winery, Cream Ridge Winery, DiMatteo Winery, Monroeville Vineyard & Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Wagonhouse Winery, and Villari Vineyards. Dozens of varieties of wines will be available for sampling; each paid admission includes a commemorative wine glass to use for the tasting and guests can purchase favorites by the bottle or case during the event.
The wine festival is being held in conjunction with the Stafford Township Recreation Department’s Fall Festival, which takes place on Saturday, the 14th in the park from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Fall Festival is a full day of free entertainment, family fun events, food and vendors. The festival is a highly anticipated day in the township. According to Recreation Director Betti Anne McVey “We have lots of activities for children and families, including the Halloween costume parade, scarecrow making area, hayrides, and at dusk we will have a bonfire and family movie.” On Sunday the Stafford PBA will host a classic car show at the park to complement the wine festival.
