Spotlight On: Wine & Chocolate Trail Weekend

It would be tough to think of anything more festive and fun than a celebration dedicated to Wine and Chocolate. Which is why the Garden State Wine Growers Association and NJ wineries collaborate on the annual weekend. This year, the celebration will happen from February 13 through 15, with a range of exciting events on offer.

Before heading out to a winery, make sure that reservations aren’t required!

A few fun events to look for:

  • Wine and Chocolate Pairings at Stokelan Winery: Discover the magic of pairing hand-selected artisan chocolates from Reily’s Candy + Stokelan wine. Pre-bookings aren’t required, but are suggested. Every pairing includes 6 wines + 6 chocolates.
  • Enjoy Sweetheart Tastings at Beneduce Vineyards: The annual tasting features 7 wines, including curated library releases of sold-out vintages. Each wine is paired with locally crafted cheese, salumi, and artisanal truffles. Reservations required, $65 per person.
  • Pair Sparkling Wine + Chocolate at Old York Cellars: Enjoy a guided pairing of Old York Cellars sparkling wine with handcrafted chocolates. Old York is also throwing a Valentine’s Wine Pairing Dinner and Valentine’s Brunch. Reserve ahead to avoid disappointment!
  • Learn why Chocolate and Wine are the perfect pairing at Bellview Winery: Bring your Valentine, Galentine, or just yourself over to Bellview and indulge in wine and chocolate, with a side of Love Potion (wine infused with pomegranate), Red Wine Hot Chocolate, specialty cocktails. Food trucks and live music will also be on tap!
