Spotlight On: Rosé

Let’s join our wine-loving friends in New Zealand and Australia by celebrating their National Rosé Day alongside them. Rosé is a year-round wine, and with Valentine’s Day approaching, we think it’s the perfect time to give pink wine a mid-winter push.

Have you tried these New Jersey rosés yet?

  • Brook Hollow Winery Dry Rosé: A blend of Riesling, Merlot, Frontenac Blanc, and Frontenac Noir with aromas and flavors of strawberries and cotton candy and a crushable 11% ABV.
  • DiBella Winery Dibella Blush: A semi-sweet blend of Blaufrankish and Traminette for the sweeter wine drinkers.
  • Natali Vineyards Rosé: A semi-sweet but not too sweet rosé that dry and sweet drinkers can enjoy together, with aromas of raspberry, strawberry,  and lemon and flavors of fresh berries with melon and vanilla towards the finish.
  • Sharrott Winery Sparkling Rose: A dry bubbly made in the Champagne method with flavors of dried red fruits.
  • Unionville Vineyards Battlefield Blush: Part of its Washington Collection, celebrating the U.S.’s 250th anniversary, an off-dry blend of French-American hybrid grapes.

This is just a sample of what’s available at New Jersey wineries. Almost every winery makes a rosé or blush wine. They range from dry to sweet, still to sparkling, and delicious to even more delicious.
