Located in Swedesboro in Gloucester County, Cedarvale Winery is situated on a 5th-generation family farm that’s been making wine from estate-grown grapes and locally grown fruit (for its non-grape wines) for 17 years.
Started in 2008, the winery is a family affair. Owned by Ed and Marsha Gaventa, father and son team Ed and Andrew are the vintners and manage the vineyards, and Marsha joins them in working together in the tasting room and the production facility.
Throughout the year, Cedarvale hosts live music on Saturdays from 3-6 pm (except on holiday weekends), as well as several events throughout the year, such as Christmas in July (with rescue dogs waiting for adoption), book clubs, comedy shows, food trucks, a chili cook-off, and more.
