Angelico Winery in Lambertville, which celebrated its third year open to the public last month, is deep into harvest, its second wonderful harvest in a row after the very pleasant weather during the 2025 growing season. Currently, the winery is sending out its Sangiovese SuperTuscan, a blend of house Sangiovese and house Cab Franc, to its club members. The remaining few cases of this red will be available to guests at the tasting room. And soon, guests can look for the current release of the winery’s Miracle, made from Barbera, that will be perfect for the cooler months. Also, look for new corks with the Angelico logo as the winery phases out PVC capsules to reduce waste and be more sustainable.
In the tasting room, Angelico is currently taking full advantage of the Garden State’s tomatoes, serving them on a seasonal Bruschetta along with creamy goat cheese, fresh basil, and balsamic reduction. The tasting room staff is trained on wine and food pairing and can guide guests to the right wine for the tasty Bruschetta.
You can sample Angelico’s wines at the Valenzano Winefest (details about that above in the events section) on September 20 & 21. For more events at the winery, scroll down on the homepage of the winery’s website.
