Festival Season 2008
The Garden State Wine Growers Association, a member
organization at present comprised of 26 New Jersey vineyard owners, winemakers
and wineries has been hosting state-wide wine festivals since 1985. Today,
these festivals draw more than 20,000 wine lovers, food aficionados, tourists,
shoppers, music lovers and adults who love to relax and enjoy outdoor
activities with their families and friends. The GSWGA hosts 5
festivals between Memorial Day and mid-October around the state. Advertising
and promotion for the entire festival season is significant, covering all media
in the New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Pennsylvania area. Attendees tend to
match national demographics for wine consumers, which is a target age and
income audience for most businesses. Festivals
