The Garden State Wine Growers Association will hold its annual Grand Harvest Wine Festival at
Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township, Oct. 15 and 16 from noon to five p.m.
Fosterfields is a working farm, using the tools, techniques, and materials of a late 19th Century farm.
The festival will feature twenty wineries offering nearly 250 locally-produced wines, food, crafts vendors, live bands and the opportunity to experience one of New Jersey’s significant historic farms.
Saturday’s entertainment will be To the Max, an energetic club and dance band with a dancing brass section and a repertoire that covers every spectrum of musical genres.
Sunday’s entertainment will be Brian Kirk and the Jirks, a veteran band of performers with a diverse repertoire of songs complete with killer solos and great groove. Tickets for the festival are $20 an adult at the gate and include a complimentary wine glass and sampling of all wines. Reduced admission fees to the farm will be available.
